PSYCHOLOGICAL FIRST AID

Psychological First Aid (PFA) is a simple, field-based system used to support patients who are experiencing distress or trauma. It’s not designed to replace clinical care, but allows us to intervene on scene, enabling early mitigation of stress.

Responders consistently tell us that working with a subject’s family, friends, or witnesses is often what ‘sticks with them’ long after an incident. Proper training is essential to protect our teams and keep us in our careers.

We offer online and live training on Psychological First Response. You can click here to preview the online course and learn more about live training. Or, if you’re ready, you can click here to register for the online course.

This course is recommended for anyone who may have exposure to individuals experiencing trauma, regardless of industry or role.
