Learn tangible skills and tools to promote stress resilience

Responder Alliance online training courses are designed to provide easily digestible, self-paced access to our curriculum. Our curriculum includes training in stress resilience and field support following stress exposure in two levels: Level 1 – universal precautions for all responders and Level 2 – organizational structure, for resilience teams, peer/lateral support, and organization leadership.

Online training courses include:

2-3 hours of asynchronous training

Lessons delivered in educational modules, with video lessons, reflective exercises, tools and comprehension questions

Individual account access to our training platform for 1 year, to review lessons and download tools as needed

Course completion certification

Level 1 Curriculum

Universal precautions for all responders

Recommended skillset and universal precaution for anyone who may respond to incidents as part of their occupation, with a focus on resilience teams, caregivers, dispatch, and everyone who has contact with patients experiencing trauma.

This training is a recommended universal precaution for anyone who may be exposed to occupational stress injury, with focus on emergency responders.

Level 2 Curriculum

Creating resilient organizational structure

This training is recommended for resilience teams, peer/lateral support, incident commanders, and organization leadership to provide individualized support following major incidents. Recommended prerequisite: Psychological First Response for Rescue.

This training is recommended for resilience teams and organization leadership to help structure organizations to mitigate the risk of teams becoming injured by stress. Recommended prerequisite: Stress Injury Awareness for the Individual.
