INcident Support
for Traumatic Stress
The Responder Alliance Incident Support for Traumatic Stress training teaches a proactive approach to align support with individual needs following major incidents. This training is recommended for resilience teams, peer/lateral support, incident commanders, and organization leadership.
Recommended prerequisite: Psychological First Response for Rescue
Incident Support curriculum includes:
Definition of Potentially Traumatizing Events (PTEs) to help identify risk of stress injury
Introduction to the Incident Support Tool for exposure assessment
Implementation of the 3-3-3 Protocol for proactive response to traumatic stress
Responder Alliance is the only training center that teaches utilization of the Incident Support Tool and 3-3-3 Traumatic Exposure Protocol.
